We call ourselves ‘Beyond’ organic as we go further than just being organic and take a holistic, biodynamic, ethical approach to our production techniques. All of our (slightly nutty) team are committed to organics, recycling, natural, ecological, fair-trade and carbon footprint issues.

Our products are all hand-made in our own laboratory and not only are they free from harmful chemicals, additives and perfumes, but we make our own herbal and botanical infusions from highly specialised ingredients researched to do the best for your skin.  We have stripped our products bare of any unnecessary ‘fluff’ and focused our attention on what truly goes on at skin level.

All of our products are certified organic by the BDAA (Biodynamic Agricultural Association),UK6 and EU Regulation 2092/91, and have been Safety Tested in compliance with Cosmetic Products Safety Regulations.

All of the ingredients in our products are certified organic at source. We have just started using a cutting edge natural plant extract which is totally natural and non-allergic which cuts out the need for a preservative.

We are a small, family business, based in Cornwall in a heart-breakingly beautiful part of the Lizard Peninsula. We hand make all our products in our workshop overlooking St. Anthony’s and ‘beyond’ to St Mawes and Falmouth.

Down here at the far tip of Cornwall the air is pure and nature is thrilling in its power and abundance.  We believe that nature has given us all we need to nurture, support and heal us.  It’s from this beauty and purity that we get our inspiration and passion. We have thought so much about your skin; it’s something of an obsession for us.  That’s why we have gone far beyond just making natural and organic skincare products.  Our quest is, and always will be, to bring you the purest, kindest, most ethical and effective range possible.

We have produced a range that is truly different – in fact we were told by a cosmetic scientist that it was not possible to formulate the way we have without the use of chemicals!  We were determined however that it WAS possible and after many months of experimenting and trials on willing and long-suffering friends we came up with this very exceptional range. We are also constantly researching to bring you new ‘Beyond’ products of equally high standards.

We aim to ’step lightly on this earth’ and we support the following:

• Organic - We are certified organic with the BDAA – they also go ‘beyond’ being organic and take a holistic, more spiritual approach to organic farming.  They actually pre-date the organic movement by many years. For more information visit www.biodynamic.org.uk
• Natural – No unnecessary additives or chemicals.
• Fair Trade – We will not knowingly support any business that has moral, financial or environmentally damaging practices.
• Recycling - We use recycled and recyclable packaging and stationery – and better still, compostable where possible. Our products are in recyclable glass, coloured with a vegetable dye, to keep out the light and protect our botanical ingredients. These should be put in the clear glass recycle bin as the colour comes off in the recycling process.
• Low carbon footprint – We are very fortunate to have a totally separate area in our home (it was a separate ‘granny’ flat) which has been converted to offices. So no petrol driving to and from work for us, and our friendly helpers all live locally.
• NOT tested on animals – None of our products have been tested on animals – nor will they ever be – we are totally against this practice.
• Vegetarian - All of our products are suitable for vegetarians, and many are also vegan friendly.
